Hape - Pound and Tap Bench
Pound and Tap Bench cleverly combines two classic toys in one. Use the wooden mallet to pound the balls and it turns into one of the favorite instruments, falling through onto the xylophone creating delightful and melodic sounds.
Great for boys or girls, the Early Melodies Pound and Tap Bench is sturdy and beautifully constructed. The 8-tone xylophone can be removed and used separately as one of the favored instruments, or fitted inside the bench. The mallet and three wooden balls are easily gripped by small hands, and the balls are color-coded to match the holes in the bench.
When the balls are "pounded" through the holes, they fall onto the xylophone producing delightful tinkling sounds.
Children can develop important skills from playing with the toy, including fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, color-matching, and cause and effect. Hape finishes are non-toxic, child-safe and of the highest quality.
