What will Lemon Echinacea Throat Coat do for me?

It provides a protective coating on the membranes that line your throat.

How do I know it works?

Licorice and marshmallow are demulcents, which soothe irritated mucous membranes. In Germany, marshmallow is approved for irritation of the mouth and throat and associated dry cough. In Canada, echinacea root tea is an approved Traditional Herbal Medicine for the relief of sore throat.

When should I use it?

Drink as often as needed throughout the day.

How does it taste?

It’s sweet, lemony and viscous (which allows the herbs to coat your throat), with a characteristic tingle on your tongue from the alkylamindes in echinacea, which is one of the important indicators of herb quality.

Suggested Use

Brew well to be well

For Maximum benefit, herbal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a cup. Cover cup and steep 10 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial components that will end up in your teacup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract. Drink three to five cups daily. Sweeten with honey if desired.
