Holle - 有機碎雞肉

The first Holle Organic Baby Jars with chicken sourced from the rearing of brother roosters will be available from retailers from March 2014.  Within the scope of this development we will no longer be using turkey. In future, Holle Organic Baby Jars with poultry meat will only include meat sourced from the BID project.

Why we are now using only poultry meat sourced from the Bruderhahn Initiative Deutschland project

For many years now Holle has been sourcing its poultry meat from the Demeter farm Bauckhof Klein Süstedt. The managing director, Carsten Bauck, is one of the main initiators of the Bruderhahn Initiative Deutschland (BID - German Brother Rooster Project) founded in 2012.   
The BID project specifies strict guidelines for the rearing of brother roosters, which are based on the existing guidelines of Bioland and Demeter. Rearing, feed and living conditions meet the highest animal welfare standards. The BID even exceeds these standards with its strict refusal to use antibiotics.

Products bearing the BID label guarantee the following criteria:

  • Brother roosters are reared
  • Free from antibiotics
  • Demeter quality
  • 100% organic feed
  • Tested by an independent certification body

When to start:

  • from about 4 months

Attributes:

  • gluten free, no added sugar, no added salt, dairy free, egg free, pureed texture.

Ingredients:

Chicken, (40%), Water, wholegrain rice* cooked

* from Organic Farming

Preparation:

Stir before use. Warm whole jar or portion in pan of water (approx. 37°C). Begin feeding with 2-4 teaspoons and increase amount up to one jar. 

Production:

All fruit jars are pasteurized at approx. 70ºC by using modern production methods. The sterilization process of approx. 120ºC is therefore not used. Through this, the fruit jars retain their natural colour and maximum aroma.

Quality:

Organic and Biodynamic (Demeter), Gluten Free

The following applies to all Holle jars:

No added sugar or salt, no milk protein, no binding agent, no yeast, no egg, no lactose, as well as the majority of jars being gluten free and several being low in allergens.
