For nutrition-conscious people our bestseller is also available in organic quality - organic taste for the whole family.Most important ingredient of this preserve is the rosehip. At harvest in autumn they wild growing fruits are sun ripened and shiny red. The franconian family company gets the core out of the pod of the fruits and after that they produce it gentle to the velvet rosehip preserve.

Healthy indulgence
Very often are fruit - whether fresh or processed as preserve - the main base for the uptake of natural vitamins and secondary metabolites. All fruit of our organic preserves ripen from the blossom to the harvest without pesticides and chemical fertilizers according to the “Bio-Siegel” stipulations (The Organic food Labelling Act is the legal basis for the Bio-Siegel. It refers to the requirements stipulated in the EU Regulation on Organic Farming). That’s how they develop their full aroma. They are harvested at the peak of the ripening process, so only wholesome and undamaged pulp is used. As sweetener we use sugar, apple syrup or agaves syrup. Of course, also organically farmed.

Responsibility, carefulness and experience
The fruit are processed in small cooking charges for gentle treatment of the products. At a 60º C vacuum excess water is withdrawn and the preserve thickened to the necessary texture. Boiled on low temperatures we preserve fruit pieces, vitamins and other valuable metabolites. For the success of an organic product credibility is very important in that industry. Maintal started to produce organic preserves early and is now known as a specialist for healthy and first-class fruit spreads. With the conventional product “Rosehip Preserve Extra” Maintal is already market leader for many years.

More flexibility
Maintal-Konfitüren is a midsize family company in Franconian Hassfurt. Due to the company structure it is possible to guarantee industrial standards as well as the production of small units for private brands. We can individually customize in regard of fruit content, sweetener (organic sugar, agaves syrup), and other demands.

Consumer oriented
Maintal has developed an organic preserve, which is equal in color and texture to the conventional preserve. Sweetened with organically grown crude cane sugar and a fruit content of 55% the organic preserve surpasses the high legal requirements, which are already demanded from a conventional “extra” preserve.
