Manhattan Toy - LEGO Ninjago
Add a little LEGO NINJAGO to your LEGO fandom with this plush rendition of Kai, the legendary Red Ninja and Elemental Master of Fire! Leave it to The LEGO Group to turn a band of youthful ninja proteges into the half-pint superheroes of the fictional place where modern day city meets ancient East Asian influence and culture--LEGO NINJAGO. Having an unavoidably cool stuffed character that represents the positive Ninjas never quit attitude on standby means tons of quality imaginative play of good overcoming evil with Spinjitzu. Kids will have fun replicating their favorite scenes from episodes of the LEGO NINJAGO TV series or creating scenarios of their own. Kai is durably constructed with a soft body and flat feet, enabling him to stand upright on shelves as collectible room decor. Unlike classic LEGO toys though, these plush Minifigures do not have moveable arms or legs but rather, they are made for soft toy play and snuggling.
About the brand
It all started with a dinosaur in New York City. The year was 1978 and the dinosaur was a floppy soft toy that made Manhattan Toy and its founder, Francis Goldwyn, a success. Goldwyn believed in making classic toys that could appeal to both parents and children alike.
Over time, the company changed hands and moved from the Big Apple to the Mini-Apple, where it has remained ever since, still making classic products that appeal to both parents and children alike – from dolls to wood toys and plush dinosaurs.
As early pioneers of developmental play, we focus on creating toys that promote the right challenge at the right time. You can find our award-winning portfolio of 500+ products in-store and online through retailers large and small across the country and internationally.
Led by Creative Director Jeanne Bleu, Manhattan Toy’s creative team puts much thought, care, and trend research into every toy they design. From patterns and colors to structure and function, her team strives to deliver on play value and visual interest. Whether seated nicely on a shelf or strewn about on the floor, toys become part of the home environment – why not make them objects of beauty?
Manhattan Toy’s creative team has cultivated close relationships with and often visits our factories located in China, Vietnam and Thailand. Each is audited and certified by the International Council of Toy Industries (ICTI) who are dedicated to environmental concerns, fair and lawful employment practices and workplace safety.
All our toys for children are thoroughly tested to the most exacting international standards for safety set forth by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM F963), the European Toy Safety Directive and Standard (EN71) and Canada Consumer Product Safety Act and Toy Regulations (SOR) Read more about our safety and sustainability on our Social Responsibility page.
