No, plus their plant does not produce anything with tree-nuts or peanuts.

2: Cross Contamination?
Their facilities are free of peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, dairy, wheat, soy, sesame, shellfish, and eggs. The equipment is thoroughly washed before making YummyEarth organic candy, but the equipment is not cleaned between flavors, so please know there is a risk that a trace amount of berry juice from one flavor may touch another flavor during production.

3: Sulfites in their Organic Tapioca Syrup?
There are no sulfites added to the tapioca syrup. They stopped using Tapioca Syrup in 2009 because of concern over elevated cyanide levels.

6: High Fructose Corn Syrup?
They do not use high fructose corn syrup in any product. The most frustrating thing about high fructose corn syrup, in their never humble opinion, is that it insidiously appears in foods we do not expect to see sugar in, such as bread, ketchup, salad dressings, yogurt, etc...which causes the body to crave ever more sweet things in foods you do not expect to be "sweetened". They do, however, expect their candy to be sweetened and they share their candy with their families in moderation and know that it has sugar in it.

YummyEarth flavors in their organic candy are Organic Compliant Natural Flavors and conform to the regulations of both the FDA and the USDA's National Organic Plan (NOP). All of the flavor components are derived naturally from fruit and root extracts and the solvents used as carriers are actually natural, such as glycerine derived from vegetables or safflower oil. These YummyEarth natural flavors do not contain MSG or other junk that they would not be proud to put in their family's mouths.
