Reason to Love - Based on a combination of herbs inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, our herbalists blended roasted dandelion and chicory roots—bitter and earthy and used to stimulate your liver's natural detoxification processes—with schisandra berries, whose use was first documented 5,000 years ago. Called "five flavor berry" in Chinese, schisandra is unique in that it has all five tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter and pungent (or warmly spicy). A delightfully, complex-tasting tea, we love it because it gives the liver the love it deserves.

Sustainable wild collection of schisandra berries - a fruit that grows in abundance in these regions and that is used in our schisandra fruit extract - has helped enhance that lives of the collectors.

Suggested Use

To Enjoy

Pour 8 oz freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag.

Cover cup & steep for 10-15 minutes.

Squeeze tea bag to ensure maximum goodness in your cup.

Enjoy 2-3 cups daily. Especially good with fresh lemon! For Adults Only!

Best if drunk daily for six weeks, followed by a break of up to a week before resuming.

Do not use this product if you have obstructed bile ducts, inflammation of the gallbladder, loose stools, or painful obstruction of the bowel; if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; or if you are allergic to plants in the daisy (Asteraceae) family such as chamomile, echinacea, chicory or dandelion. Discomfort due to gastric hyperacidity may occur after taking herbs that contain bitter substances like chicory and dandelion. Individuals with high gastric acidity or peptic ulcers may experience increased acidity when taking schisandra fruit. In rare cases, chicory and dandelion may be associated with allergic skin reactions.
