SlimFit R129 keeps your family going by adapting to every stage of your little one’s life. SlimFit R129 is a 2-in-1 convertible car seat that can be used from birth all the way up to 145cm or approximately 12 years of age. This upgraded version of our original SlimFit R44 convertible car seat meets the EU’s R129 standards which means it has undergone more side impact testing, is categorized by height instead of weight, and keeps your child rearward facing longer. Use rearward facing from birth up to 105cm (approx. 4 years) and then use forward facing as a highback booster from 100 to 145cm (approx. 3.5 to 12 years).
Keeping your little one safe has never been easier. With the TrueShield™ Side Impact Protection pod and Safety Surround™ Side Impact Protection, this seat works hard to protect your precious cargo in the event of a collision. The easy-to-adjust 5-point harness keeps your rearward child secured in this convertible car seat. Installation is easier with the integrated belt lock-off that confirms the car seat is snug and secure in your vehicle.
SlimFit R129 is designed to adapt as your baby becomes a toddler and then a big kid. The no-rethread harness and 10-position headrest easily adjust together. As an added bonus, the side wings of the car seat simultaneously expand as the headrest is raised. When your little one no longer needs the harness, it stores away neatly thanks to the integrated harness storage.
SlimFit R129’s 6-position recline is ideal for both rearward and forward facing kids. Smoothly adjust the recline with one hand and use the optional newborn inserts for extra protection and comfort. To ensure the longevity of your convertible car seat, the covers and pads are machine washable to make sure every ride, from hospital to big kid, is as clean as the first.
