What is different about the new formula?

What is DHA?
DHA - the abbreviation stands for docosahexaenoic acid - is a long-chain, polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid.

Why is DHA important?
Omega-3 fatty acids contribute to the normal development of brain and nerve cells as well as vision. Omega-3 fatty acids are naturally present in breast milk. From the supplementary dietary age onwards, babies can absorb DHA through their supplementary diet, such as fatty fish. In order to ensure that all children receive a sufficient supply of this important nutrient, the use of DHA in follow-on formula will be legally required in future.
