Fruit is an indispensable source of vitamins, minerals and trace elements for baby’s nutrition. HiPP Fruits are rich in vitamin C that helps strengthen your child’s body’s defences.

How it is eaten

Introduce your baby to weaning food by offering 4-6 small spoonsful before baby’s milk feed and increase the amount daily. After that, feed it as an in-between meal, dessert or as an ingredient added to pap. Take out the required amount, cover the remaining portion and place it in the refrigerator and use up within 3 days. To protect jar from damage, please only use plastic spoons.

When starting on weaning food, according to scientific findings, the same recommendations apply as for children without a higher risk of developing allergies. Start according to your baby’s development and begin with weaning food after the 4th month at the earliest and after the 6th month at the latest – starting with weaning food later does not offer better protection against allergies.
It is important to introduce weaning food step by step into your baby’s meal plan. This allows your baby time to get used to the new food and you will always be able to recognise which foodstuffs are well tolerated. Suitable products can be recognised by the symbol shown on the right.
When the baby has received weaning food and one milk feed has been entirely replaced by pap, you can change from HA1 Combiotic® to HA2 Combiotic®, as an accompaniment to weaning food. (In all cases, discuss feeding and starting weaning food with your paediatrician.)

As long as you breastfeed your baby it is well protected, because breast milk is the best for babies. That’s why you should breastfeed your baby for the first 4 – 6 months if possible. What about after breastfeeding?

What does organic quality mean?

Babies who are not or only partly breastfed need a selected formula that is modelled on breast milk. The infant’s organ is still very sensitive. That is why the composition of formula is clearly set out by law. As a basis, cow’s milk is used that provides calcium and valuable protein. It is important for HiPP that we use products that are as natural as possible and only use strictly controlled organic milk as the base product for our organic milk formulae.

Cultivation of genetically modified plants (also for fodder) is clearly forbidden according to EU Organic Farming Regulation. HiPP is also convinced that organic cultivation is the best and that it is incompatible with genetic engineering. Our years of experience in processing organic raw products guarantee the best organic quality. More than 600 controls in every production batch mean the highest safety for your baby.
